Bike Rental

1.     Security – Identification Requirement

• The renter is obligated to leave a copy of a photo ID.

2.     Theft

• The rental items are not secured against theft. In case of loss or theft, the full replacement value must be paid.

3.     Inspection

• The renter confirms that the rental material was inspected by them upon receipt, has no obvious defects and is fully functional. Any defects should be reported to the rental staff immediately. The renter is liable for all damages occurring during the rental period.

4.     Personal Responsibility and Liability

• The lessor assumes no liability for damage to persons or property. Use is at your own risk. The customer is liable for any damage to the rental material, except for wear and tear.

• Furthermore, the renter declares that they have sufficient personal liability insurance to guarantee coverage of any damage that may occur.

5.     Route Selection

• The selection of the routes on which the rental material is used is exclusively at the renter's own instigation, responsibility and risk. When used on the Bikecircus route, the rules of conduct of the bike park apply.

6.     Bike Service

• The lessor recommends a daily free bike service.

7.     Cleaning and Return

• The rental items must be returned cleaned, complete and in the condition in which they were received on the last day of rental by 5:00 p.m. at the latest. If the deadline is exceeded, the additional rental period will be charged.

• In the event of early return, a refund of the rental fee will only be made with a medical certificate.

8.     Minors

• Minors between the ages of 16 and 18 declare that they have the permission and consent of a legal guardian. For renters under the age of 16, a legal guardian must sign this declaration.

• By signing, the customer declares that they have read, understood and accepted the rental conditions.
